Battle #4 Announcement
Well, Foodie Fights is rolling along at a good pace now and we are getting a lot of great submissions for ingredients. Please remember that if you don’t get picked for a battle, don’t feel bad! Dan and I choose the competitors randomly except that we exclude people who participated in the most recent battle.
The best thing you can do is sign-up again for the next battle. Rest assured that you’ll get in eventually. Enough administration… onto the battle!
Let me introduce you two of my favorite things which the competitors will have to work with: Melon and Red Pepper Flakes
Now both of these ingredients are pretty broad and that is okay. There are a bunch of different varieties of melon. I can think of half a dozen right off the top of my head that would be cool to use. That should only make the battle more interesting. If any of the competitors have any questions, just leave a comment and either Dan or myself will answer it.

I’ll announce the guest judges a bit later, but obviously one of them will be last week’s winner, Neal, from Burning Pasta!
