Battle 10 - Frozen Dessert!

Hope all you fighters had a good 4th of July holiday! We're back, rested, and ready for some new fun battles!

To kick off battle 10, we decided to do something to help with the crazy heat of summer. So it's another wildcard type battle, like battle burger. Except this time it's battle: Frozen Dessert!

So the freezer door is pretty wide open for this battle. The only real rules are that the dish has to be a dessert and at least part of it has to be frozen.

I'll leave it up to you to decide what to do with it. So sign up and cool off!

DC summers are tremendously hot, so now more than ever, I'm a sucker for frozen desserts. What better time to read these entries? My mouth is officially watering. Without further ado, the entries:

Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Orange Zest Ice Cream: I'm officially a sucker for the chocolate-orange combination, and I can definitely see how cinnamon would complement the bitter sweetness of the chocolate and orange. Not sure how I feel about the heap of zest on top of a scoop of ice cream, but the ice cream itself looks to die for.

Wow, everyone did such a fantastic job this week. I'm so psyched to be able to judge! It's definitely a tough decision, though. I only wish I had the time and funds to make them all and try them myself :) Alright, let's break it down:
